My client is a global leader in Internet and mobile cloud monitoring. They provide companies with solutions for continuously improving the online experience. The testing, monitoring and measurement products and services are used by a variety of enterprises such as online portals, e-commerce sites, B2B sites, mobile operators and mobile infrastructure providers. With their product, companies know precisely how their Web sites, content, and applications perform on actual browsers, networks, and mobile devices. The employer has an immediate opening for a Territory Account Manager for the United Kingdom, Middle East and Africa.

Reporting to the SVP WW Sales, the Territory Account Manager- UK will be responsible for  supporting a mature installed base of customers, prospecting, and selling a range of our services, executing strategy, and closing business on a regular basis. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Internet technology, as well as a proven track record of success selling enterprise software or services and in building beneficial, lasting relationships with customers. The Territory Account Manager-UK will prospect for new opportunities and up-sell existing account relationships in the following product categories

Web Performance Monitoring focusing on true end user experience. Also, availability monitoring for critical operations web based applications and transactions both behind the firewall and from the edge (middle mile) endpoints, leveraging a global network of agents.

Mobile Testing and Monitoring Services – provides end-to-end testing and monitoring of mobile content, applications, and services on real devices across multiple mobile operator networks around the world. Our mobile infrastructure is the foundation upon which Operators, OEM vendors, Content and Service Providers, and Mobile Enterprises test, measure and improve the mobile eco-system end user experience.

Load Testing - Our service is the gold standard for e- commerce’s largest and most sophisticated companies.  Our service simulates actual user traffic from the outside-in, stressing a company’s entire infrastructure -- and identifying performance constraints that cannot be identified with lab testing, or other solutions.

The primary activities will consist of prospecting, selling, generating and delivering proposals, closing new business, and managing account relationships. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Direct sales 95% / channel sales 5%
  • Predominantly new business sales 80%, possibly some renewals / growth business 20%
  • Strong existing teams to work closely with
  • Solutions are predominantly sold as SaaS business model (including new range of mobility solutions)
  • Selling enterprise solutions to IT Operations departments (could be development / QA / operations)
  • Following up on sales leads generated from corporate and EMEA generated campaigns
  • Prospecting to greenfield accounts in targeted field sales campaigns
  • Managing all opportunities to increase deal size and accelerate the buying process; Strategically evaluating, managing, and prioritizing opportunities
  • Fielding customer service phone calls and email messages from customers, and addressing any needs
  • Exceeding monthly quota objectives through outbound sales activities
  • Accurately forecasting opportunities based upon realistic assessments
  • Maintaining professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values
  • Identifying potential areas of product and service development
Your profile: 
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience selling SaaS, preferably in the eCommerce arena
  • Consistent track record of success in consultative sales environments; Consistent track record of developing new business and managing a complex sales cycle, from generating leads through closing
  • Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A working knowledge of Internet architecture, technology and infrastructure is an advantage
Package: 
  • The compensation package includes a base salary, plus commission associated with sales objectives.
  • Home office job: with computer, equipment, supplies – supplied
  • Business expenses for: broadband, phone, mobile – provided
  • Car allowance – none. But mileage reimbursement is provided
  • Travel is required (i.e. to North America for training & meetings, EMEA for team meetings, and Middle East for sales) – all business expenses paid
