Skills in demand

The Regional Sales Representative will plan and execute strategic and tactical plans to achieve the sales objectives assigned to them. The primary focus of the RDS is to:

‣ Sustain and grow the usage of the company's products and services within their account base

‣ Develop new business accounts within their region

‣ Support the marketing efforts of the company through attendance at company and industry events

‣ Maintain and expand their industry and product knowledge so to be relevant and beneficial to our clients and prospects

This position requires the ability to analyze current environments, create a compelling business solution, complete with detailed financial analysis, present the findings and propose specific technology recommendations to improve current business processes. The Sales Representative must possess a high degree of creativity, organizational and process development skills and have a proven track record with presenting to Senior Management.

Responsibilities

‣ Work with prospects and customers who require solutions that can be closed over the phone.

‣ Deliver online presentations and demonstrations.

‣ Target prospects according to title, fit, geography, company size, and ranked priority.

‣ Ability to call at all levels within an organization and determine quickly the decision maker.

‣ Complete sales orders and other documentation required for close of a deal.

‣ Work revenue opportunities through closure.

Your profile: 

Requirements

‣ 5 – 10 years Enterprise sales or related experience selling into IT

‣ A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible follow-up and cold calling in to multiple levels within an organization.

‣ Experience with cold calling / lead generation (this is not an inside sales role!)

‣ Opportunity qualification and objection handling

‣ Time and territory management

‣ Experience selling to technical staff and “C” level executives

‣ Familiarity with solution selling techniques

‣ Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills

‣ Ambition to grow within company and be a team player

‣ BS/BA Degree or equivalent work experience preferred

‣ Background in leading high-tech companies is a plus

‣ Experience with start-ups is a plus

Package: 

Salary depends on experience + sales bonus. The Senior Sales Rep can work from home office.
