The employer is an internationally recognised, digital media brand with products in 35 cities across 23 countries anda presence on every inhabited continent.

  • To be responsible for the P&L of the companyt’s operations in Paris.
  • To raise the profile of the company as an advertising partner and an effective e-commerce business, and toengage with industry leaders to establish the company in France as a critical media and transactional partnerfor anyone in the culture, entertainment and leisure sector.
  • To work with management and partners to further develop the company’s advertising sales and e-commercebusiness.
  • To manage and develop the editorial Paris team, working with the International Content Director to developthe annual content plan and ensure editorial objectives which support the business are achieved.
  • To manage the Sales Manager of the company in Paris and to further develop the commercial team as thebusiness grows.
  • To work with the marketing team in Paris and London to grow the audience for the company and ensurebrand values are upheld and communicated.
  • To work with management and partners to create the necessary infrastructure and processes to successfullyrun the business, within agreed budget parameters.
  • To regularly report to the Group management on performance against identified key metrics for thebusiness.
  • To uphold, communicate and embed into the business' core values: passion, respect, integrity, creativity,trust, inspiration and collaboration
Your profile: 
  • Possess the drive, competitiveness and motivation to generate business growth.
  • An inspirational and influential manager who is professional and reliable, able to lead a team to success.
  • Organised and target focused.
  • Results-driven and committed to creating new business opportunities.
  • Degree level education, ideally with a business qualification. However, emphasis will be placed on a relevantand successful experience.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a senior management/business development role in the digitalmedia/leisure/entertainment sector.
  • A demonstrably strong network of contacts relevant to the company’s business.
  • Extensive sales experience a must, editorial experience an added bonus.
  • Proven record in P&L management.
  • Essential to have very strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills.
  • Good command of English.
  • Good technological understanding – internet/e-commerce savvy.
