The company provides software-as-a-service subscriptions  (SaaS) that allows their customers to measure and monitor Web and mobile sites & applications without having to maintain hardware or software.


We are recruiting a  Marketing Leader Europe, located in either London, Munich or US, to join our client's dynamic, smart and fast moving global marketing team. In this position, you will own the development, and execution of all outbound marketing. This position is ideal for the candidate who loves (Web/mobile) technology and enjoys being a product evangelist and 'roll-up-your-sleeves' marketer. Candidates with a mix of technology background and marketing experience from high-technology services (eg., software-as-a-service business models), technology products (eg., CDN, VoIP or streaming), and Internet portals are strongly encouraged to apply.

The primary focus of this position is to build upon Keynote’s European presence through product evangelism and building lead generation & brand awareness programs. You will work closely with marketing, product management and sales colleagues to develop customer acquisition & retention programs. In this role you will also be involved in giving presentations to customers, analysts and at various tech & industry conferences across Europe.

Your profile: 
  • Independently minded, entrepreneurial marketer who innately understands how to get attention and recognition for technology products.
  • Knack for translating complex technologies into easily understandable messages. Excellent writing skills are a must.
  • Ability to develop clear, compelling presentations on why customers need the employer's products.
  • Master sales force trainer – be an evangelist and help your sales force become one too.
  • Ability to manage agencies to accomplish your tasks (i.e. collateral design, events marketing, Web development).
  • Exceptional ability to communicate recommendations and influence change based on market and customer research findings and ability to work comfortably and effectively with senior level executives both internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in marketing components (eg., frequency, reach, placement) and techniques (SEM, SEO, PR).
  • Strong understanding of Internet business models, Web technologies, networking and interactive businesses.
  • At-ease working with Sales colleagues.
  • Outstanding team-orientation, in other words, you like working with people and thrive on the collective energy.
  • Fluency in English and one other European language, preferably German or French.
  • Work Authorization in Europe
  • Candidates with BA + MBA degrees will do well in this role and are encouraged to apply

Required Experience

  • Technical background in Web/mobile technology or experience working as an evangelist/product marketer for a B2B technology company.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience and interest (can we hope for passion?) in online business trends and developments and an understanding for issues faced by online companies.
  • Candidate will have experience in B2B marketing either in Europe or for Europe for a US company.
  • 5-7 years of progressive marketing management experience.
  • Proven track record for developing & localizing outbound marketing campaigns including creative and copy.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and/or localizing sales tools (collateral, intranets, presentations, customer demos).
  • Experience in managing European resources (PR, SEM and direct marketing agencies is a must) and developing & managing marketing budgets.
  • Hands-on experience with building brand new customer acquisition marketing programs.
  • Understanding of and experience in viral marketing techniques. Demonstrated ability to maximize budgets through “guerilla marketing” techniques would be ideal.
